Sem diálogos, o filme aposta na vivencia do publico para expressar os sentimentos das personagens, além de transpor as características do interior brasileiro na arte e na trilha sonora. I also wrote the script and served as the executive producer. Um Abraço is a 2D animation in a digital CutOut style that tells the story of Marcelino, a 6-year-old boy trying to understand his emotions during the Covid-19 lockdown. Together with his grandmother, they use a cellphone to find a way to share a hug. Without dialogue, the film relies on the audience's experiences to convey the characters' emotions, while incorporating elements of Brazil’s countryside into its art and soundtrack. The film has begun its festival circuit.
